Adidas Mini London Marathon 2008

The racing season has started well for me in the Adidas Mini Wheelchair Marathon.  The training I put in over the winter certainly paid off when I completed the 3 mile course in 13:10.  It was a great tactical race.

Training now is all about the track and improving on my speed.  There are some really good competitions coming up this year with senior athletes still looking to qualify for the Beijing Paralympics.  I'm looking forward to racing and learning from them at some of these events.

The biggest event of the year for me will be the IWAS Junior World Championships which are being held in New Jersey, USA in July.  I am hoping to do well at this competition but it will be difficult up against the best juniors in the world.
